Jesus was clearly visible on the cross above Mary with arms outstretched along with the angels and doves, but as the evening sky became darker the images began to fade. Still we can see Jesus in these original true photos.

The Sky Lit Up as the 'Fireball' Passed Over Head

The ball of white light lighting up the sky the following evening and appearing so close in time to the appearance of Mary in the sky has a real significance to us.

For example, in each of the six apparitions of the Blessed Mother at Fatima, she appeared dressed all in white and as if made of light and the light that radiated from her made the children see themselves in God.

Again Mary appeared in Garabandal Spain between 1961-1965. The Virgin Mary suddenly appeared before three children. There was light all around her with two angels standing on either side of her.

"Our Lady of Light" is yet another example and was a mass Marian apparition that was reported to have occurred in the Zeitoun district of Cairo, Egypt, during a period of about 3 years beginning on 2 April 1968.
